Vaping is a valuable tool for people looking to quit smoking cigarettes. It offers a less harmful alternative that mimics the sensation of smoking without the harmful impacts of smoking tobacco. However, as we switch over to vaping, we must also take on the responsibility of responsibly disposing of vapes. Our planet is our most precious resource, and we are committed to doing our bit to protect the environment and reduce waste where possible. To do this, we’d love your help too!
We recycle our household items, so why not vapes, too? Incorrectly discarded vapes are a blight on our environment and a wasted resource. You can actively contribute to keeping our environment cleaner by recycling your used vape pods, devices and e-liquid bottles instead! To facilitate this, we’ve partnered with TerraCycle, who are committed to creating a sustainable future as a global leader in recycling hard-to-recycle material.
You can easily recycle your vape at any of the 30+ VAPO vape shops located around New Zealand. Just put your vape waste into a VapeCycle bin in-store. Once collected, we work with TerraCycle to turn those discarded pieces into new recycled products. These new items include park benches, shelving, decking, watering cans, storage containers, and playground flooring! By doing this, you not only assist in reducing the environmental impact of vaping but also earn loyalty stamps for your efforts. It’s a win-win!

Choose a vape that can be fully recycled
Save up all of your used vapes, pods or disposable vapes
Post them directly to our mates at TerraCycle (for free!) or drop them off at one of our 30+ VapeCycle drop-off points
